NBU abolishes requirement to use stamps, notary's endorsement for some documents

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has abolished a requirement to use stamps and notary's endorsement for some documents, bringing their legal acts in line with the legislation on the use of stamps by companies and individual businessmen.

The NBU said on its website that according to resolution No. 102 that took effect on October 13, 2017, clients of banks can carry out currency transactions with no stamps on the documents for these transactions and the documents submitted to the NBU.

The central bank said that the endorsement of translations of agreements and other documents submitted by banks and their clients to the NBU by notaries remains mandatory.
